Eva and Steve Whitney left London to pursue their dream of opening a restaurant by the sea offering some of the best fish and shellfish available locally.
The menu and blackboard specials change daily to showcase the freshest fish available that morning.
Many of our dishes are gluten-free but we are unable to cater for vegans. We will always have one vegetarian starter and main course available.
Steve’s style of cooking is derived from his extensive experience in classical French kitchens but we are not French and we will always offer a traditional British Roast on our Sunday lunch menu!
Our aim is to offer a reasonably priced, memorable dining experience, packed with flavour in a thoroughly relaxed and friendly setting.
Our restaurant is small and the table layout is such that we are unable to accommodate cots, pushchairs or high chairs. We do not have a children’s menu and do not offer children’s portions.
We are open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch.
Whits is also available to hire for private parties.
We are very excited to have found such a lovely spot and look forward to welcoming you here.

We will always have one vegetarian starter and main course available if we have advance notice when your booking is made.
